Connecting farms, kitchens, communities and local ideas
Food connects many parts of life in Hoher Fläming, farms, villages, kitchens, schools, tourism, local shops and community spaces.
In this hands-on workshop, we will explore what already exists, where stronger links are needed, and which ideas could grow beyond the Kreativsause. After a short introduction, participants will work in small groups to map local actors, spot missing connections, and sketch possible next steps — including ideas that could later be co-developed with COCONAT/COCOLAB.
Themes may include local supply, farm-to-table formats, food tourism, public catering, food education, community hubs, regional products, and digital tools for visibility and coordination.
The workshop is also an early step in exploring how Hoher Fläming could connect as a rural pilot area to the emerging FutureFoodS Lighthouse Living Lab Berlin–Brandenburg.
Who can join?
Farmers, food initiatives, gastronomy and tourism actors, municipalities, educators, community organisers, creative practitioners, artists, researchers, and anyone interested in local food and rural futures.
Language
English facilitation; German contributions are welcome.
The workshop is facilitated by Naser Reyhani from the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB).
Naser works on food-system transformation, agroecology, regional innovation, Living Labs and science–policy–practice cooperation. At ATB, he coordinates and contributes to European partnerships including FutureFoodS and Agroecology, and supports the development of the FutureFoodS Lighthouse Living Lab Berlin–Brandenburg.

The workshop is organized in collaboration between ATB, the FutureFoodS Lighthouse Living Lab Berlin–Brandenburg, Flämingo Startup Hub, and COCONAT/COCOLAB.

Der Workshop findet im Rahmen der Fläminger Kreativsause kostenfrei statt.

Unser Programm wird auf Grund verschiedener Fördermittelgeber kostengünstig und teilweise kostenfrei umgesetzt. Die Kreativsause ist gefördert mit Mitteln des Ministeriums für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kultur des Landes Brandenburg, der Zukunftsschusterei Smart City Projekt Belzig/Wiesenburg sowie des Landkreises Potsdam-Mittelmark.
